Keep
on decreasing, reducing the amount of single crochets you stitch in only once.
Stop
when you have about 18 single crochets left.
Take
your knee high hosiery, stuff a bit of polyester stuffing into it, and put it
into your pincushion, leg hole sticking out. Keep stuffing your hosiery until
your pincushion is firm, tie a knot in the hosiery, cut the excess off and put
the end into the pincushion.
Continue
to decrease your stitches until you have 6 single crochets left. Fasten off,
leaving a long end. Sew your hole shut by stitching into those 6 stitches. Do
not cut off!
Take
a button, place it on top and sew your button tightly (and thus pulling the top
inward) with your yarn end into place. Knot and cut off.
Enjoy
your pincushion!
I love it and I need to make a pincushion. I am always sticking pins into my crochet bag, just because it is always close to me on my desk. Thanks! love Carol
