Finals week..
These are the things that kept me occupied for the last three days..... Tests, tests, tests.... I've been grading like a maniac. Last friday, 6 classes of mine made their final test for biology and general sciences. I was there for one class, and they were working so hard! You could see them thinkthinkthink over the questions, chewing on their pens and getting red cheeks.
I took 5 classes with me to grade at home, one has spent the weekend in the vault at school.
I am amazed at myself, of the 5 I took home, I graded all of them. Every single one of them. I was hoping for 4 out of 5, but thanks to Big Man and the kids I managed to do them all. I am So Happy. So Relieved!
No crocheting for me for the next days, unfortunately. Tomorrow I will receive another two envelopes with tests, and with the one in the vault, I will take three home.
So bare with me. No posts from me I think. I do got lots of subjects swirling around in my head to use for this blog, but right now, work has taken my life. Another week, and then I will have my life back!

You are doing an important job, educating young people.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you so much, I really appreciate your comment. Welcome to my blog, thank you for visiting. Are you also a teacher?
VerwijderenNo. I did substitute teaching for awhile when I was younger. I have a high regard for educators, and those responsible for our safety and well-being.
VerwijderenThank you so much. You are unfortunately one of the few who thinks that way about teachers/school/education. Kudos to you for substituting! Must be hard since you probably did not know most kids from the start.
