Jij bent er als ik moet tellen en tellen

Jij bent er als ik geen begin of einde heb

Jij bent er om te onthouden waar ik ben gebleven

Jij bent er als een knoop in je zakdoek

Waar zou ik zijn zonder jou?

Ik zou gek worden van de tel kwijtraken

Ik zou begin en einde totaal niet meer kunnen vinden

Ik zou moeilijke patronen niet eens meer aandurven zonder jou

Wat een geweldig ding ben jij!

You are there when I have to journey through countless of stitches

You are there when there is no end and no beginning

You are there to remind me of where I am after I leave my crochet WIP for the night

You are there like a little knot in my kerchief

Where would I be without you?

I would go crazy for start my count for the umptieth time

I would be at a loss if I don't know where to start or end

I would not even try to be brave and start on a difficicult pattern without you

What a great invention you are!
