Hallo lieve dames!
Zijn jullie er klaar voor? Vandaag het eerste deel van de MCAL voor deze winter. Zullen we het over garens te hebben?
Voor deze MCAL heb je heerlijk wat dikker garen nodig. We gaan dus een lekkere dikke shawl haken.
Even over de vereisten:
Aan garen heb ik 3 bollen New Zealand Print en 2 bollen Soffio Plus van het merk Adriafil gebruikt. Als je kijkt naar het aantal gebruikte meters, dan heb ik aan New Zealand Print 603 meter gebruikt en aan Soffio Plus 300 meter. Houd hier rekening mee!
Het eerste garen (de kleur die het meest wordt gebruikt) is lekker dikke wol/acryl mix en is in een aantal kleuren verkrijgbaar.
Het tweede garen (de kleur die het minst wordt gebruikt) is een soort van mohairachtig acryl en is zacht en geeft een beetje tsja, dimensie? (Ik mag natuurlijk niet teveel verklappen. Zorg dat je twee kleuren kiest die bij elkaar passen.
Haaknaald 5.00 mm was prima voor mij om te gebruiken en daar is het patroon ook op geschreven. Mocht je zelf strak haken dan zou ik een 6 mm of een 5.5 mm er bij leggen en dan de stekenverhouding controleren die je bij het eerste deel krijgt.
Daarnaast heb je 1 belangrijk gereedschap nodig voor deel 2 en verder: een stopnaald. We gaan flink wat eindjes wegwerken en dat is natuurlijk de passie van elke haakster!!
Kun je een ander garen kiezen? Ja, natuurlijk! Zoek dan een garen dat geschikt is voor naald 4.5-5.0.
Het patroon zelf komt in 1 maat.
Stel dat je het patroon wilt aanpassen omdat je een andere garendikte gebruikt (meer of minder toeren) dan kun je natuurlijk terecht bij de MCAL Facebook groep (ik ben daar ook)!

Hi ladies!!
Are you ready? Today I am ready to reveal the first part of the new Winter MCAL. Shall we talk yarns?
This is a true winter crochet a long. We are going to use nice warm toasty yarns!
You will need:
When it comes to yarns, you will need 3 balls of New Zealand Print and 2 balls of Soffio Plus from Adriafil if you are going to follow the pattern to a T. In total I have used 660 yards of New Zealand Print and approximately 328 yards of Soffio Plus. The New Zealand Print ( a wool/acrylic mix) will be the main colour and the Soffio (a mohair type of acrylic) the background colour.
Pick two colours that complement eachother.
You will need crochet hook size 5 mm or H. If you crochet tightly you might have to step up a size, but I will provide you with a gauge indicatin in the first part.
And last but not least: you will need a darning needle. I know this is the most pleasurable job for a crocheter, but you will need to darn in quite a few ends. Sorry! I promise it will be worth it :)
Do you want to adjust the yarn? Pick another brand or thickness? Well you can, but I am going to give you just one size.
Pick any yarn that is used with a size 7 (4.5 mm) or H (5 mm) hook.
