MCAL Passiflora Intro: Wol // Yarns

Heb je zin in een heerlijk warm project samenhaken? Vanaf vrijdag 6 januari start ik weer met een winter mystery Crochet-a-long. Dit jaar kan echt iedereen aanhaken. Het wordt een simpele MCAL, met haakvideo's en uitleg.

Wat gaan we haken?
Een col gehaakt met mooie structuursteken, dus een ideaal project voor beginners om mee te doen.

Wat heb je nodig?
Het gebruikte garen voor de MCAL van deze winter is Katia Kathmandu, een gemeleerd wintergaren geschikt voor haaknaald 6. Lekker dik, dus het zal lekker snel te haken zijn.
Voor het patroon gebruikte ik 4 bollen van dit garen, en haakte ik met haaknaald 6 mm en 8 mm.

Wanneer start de MCAL?

Op vrijdag 6 januari is de echte kick-off met deel 1 van het patroon. Iedere vrijdag zal er een nieuw deel gepost worden op de blog, en in totaal zijn er 4 delen. De planning ziet er als volgt uit:
Vrijdag 6/1/2017  deel 1
Vrijdag 13/1/2017 deel 2
Vrijdag 20/1/2017 deel 3
Vrijdag 27/1/2017 deel 4 (laatste deel)

Waar kan ik op de hoogte blijven?

Alle updates kun je het makkelijkst krijgen via de blog, maar ook op Facebook en op de speciale MCAL Facebookgroep. Geen Facebook? Schrijf je dan in op de nieuwsbrief (zie rechterbalk), dan krijg je iedere vrijdag een email binnen met de link naar het nieuwe deel.

Doe je mee? Zorg dat je je garen hebt, inschrijven hoeft niet, volg me hier of op mijn andere kanalen (alle links staan in de rechterbalk).

It's that time of the year again: it's time for the new Winter MCAL! Are you ready for crocheting a small wintery project with mystery clues?

Friday January 6th I am starting the Winter 2017 MCAL designed by yours truly. It will be a easy project with a little bit of technique.

What are we going to hook?
It'll be a cowl with some new stitches. I am inviting all crochet newbies to join as well, this one's for you!

What do you need material-wise?
You'll need 4 balls of Katia Kathmandu, the recommended yarn. OR you could swap it for any yarn with the same stitch gauge or light bulky weight yarn.
We are going to use 2 different crochet hook sizes: 6 mm and 8 mm

When will the MCAL start and when will the clues be published?

The official start will be Friday the 6th of January with the first clue. Every follwing Friday the other clues will follow. The publishing schedule looks as follows:

Friday 1/6/2017  part 1
Friday 1/13/2017 part 2
Friday 1/20/2017 part 3
Friday 1/27/2017 part 4 (last part)

Wordless Wednesday // Woordeloze Woensdag: I love my creative stash!

Wat is het toch handig als je allerlei spulletjes hebt om ook voor je werk te gebruiken!! Mijn vent zegt wel eens als ik iets koop: "waar heb je dat nu weer voor nodig?" 

Maar nu blijkt dat de ringetjes en de gaatjesmaker die ik al eeuwen heb goed gebruikt kunnen worden om takenkaartjes te maken voor mijn leerlingen!

Ik ben vast niet de enige met dit "probleem".. :)

Having a stash with material to use for any creative purpose is awesome! I tend to buy small things with an "I will eventually use this in the future" but right now with making these task cards for my classroom they came in handy. I love my stash.

I'm sure I am not the only one who has this habit :)

Okkie kreeg zomaar familie! Je kunt nu ook de kleinere versie van Okkie maken; Pukkie! Het patroon is in zowel Engels als Nederlands te downloaden.

Je hebt nodig:

- restjes haakgaren (katoen) geschikt voor haaknaald 3-4

- haaknaald 3.0 mm

- vulling

- 2 veiligheidsoogjes

Maak er eentje als cadeautje, of als hanger of als klein speelvriendje! Veel plezier met haken en delen mag!

- cotton yarn (DK weight)

- crochet hook size 3 mm

'- polyester stuffing

- 2 safety eyes
