Our red tabby is almost 12 years old this year and he is such a cutie. He is so zen and easy-going. It is getting noticeable that he is getting older as he cannot jump as good as he used to and sometimes I get the idea that he is going a bit cuckoo in the head :) He is and always has been addicted to water but he is getting extreme lately. Every morning he hops with either me or my hubby (or both of us) in the shower to drink water from the tap in the shower. He has a thing for flowing water. Water in his water bowl? He will mix it first with a paw before drinking. When I am starting to water the flowers or plants in the garden. He will beg and beg until I give in and he slobbers water from the waering can.
His quirk is cute but right now, unfortunately, it is getting out of hand. He can gulp his food in such a way that he throws it out after a few minutes. But the last few weeks he is vomiting after drinking water! I will call the vet next week but I thought my dear readers, maybe one of you lovelies have an idea in how to cope with his continuous need for water? There are those water bowls that have build in fountains. Would that be a thing for our Rover?
I would love to hear! But first: crochet. I have been out and about with the kids today so I am putting my feet up! Tomorrow there will be a birthday party as Geert has become 9 years old!
Have great weekend!
