Pattern: Pink Bag

Yes!! Finally one of the two patterns lingering in my brain and lounging in my crochet basket is finally done!

Meet my very pretty Pink Bag:

Well, meet the bottom! Doesn't it look pretty?

Just kidding, here it is! I am very proud, and it is such a lovely basic pattern. I am going to use this bag so store my stash of Phildar crochet no 3 in which I have used for the patterns accompanying the "Learn to Crochet Simple Style". Have fun with it!

Ofcourse the pattern is available in a printer-friendly version and has its own Ravelry entry!

General information
I was given some pink yarn by my sister and it has been in my stash for about two years. Had to do something with it. So it became a bag!

Round 1: Ch2 (counts as hdc throughout), hdc 7 times into ring, sl st to second ch of ch2 to close round (8 hdc)
Round 2: Ch2, hdc once into same st, hdc two times into each hdc, drop colour A at back of work, sl st with colour B to second ch of ch2 to close round (16 hdc)

Keep increasing as described in round 3 and 4. You should have 8 places in your circle where you increase and you will always increase in the second st of the increase of last round. The amount of stitches where you crochet once will grow with one stitch each round.
Alternate with colour A and B each round, dropping the unused colour at the back of your work.
Increase until you are satisfied with the width of the bottom, or until you have 112 hdc (including the ch2). You will have made 14 rounds and will have the last round made with colour A.

Repeat round 15 29 times whilst alternating colour A, B and C as described for the bottom of the bag.
Start with colour A in round 15 and make 7 rounds alternating colour A and B. Cut off both A and B (leaving an end of about 7”) and attach colour C using the sl st to close the round.
Make 15 rounds just using colour C, cut it off (leaving an end of about 7”) and attached colour A using the sl st to close round.
Make 7 more rounds alternating colour A and B as described for the bottom of the bag. The first and last round will be made with colour A.
